SHOTGUN START: Morning Session - Registration 6 a.m.; Shotgun Start 6.45 a.m.

FORMAT: STABLEFORD COMPETITION (3/4th Handicap) played over 18 holes

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all delegates of the India International Coffee Festival 2018 and members of Golf Clubs with a handicap. (Professional Golfers and Coaches not eligible to participate).

Handicap Category prizes-
Gold (0-10), Winner & Runner up
Silver (11-16), Winner & Runner up
Bronze (17 & above) Winner & Runner up

HANDICAP & TEES: Maximum course handicap permitted is 24 (after 3/4th reduction)

Handicap Event – Men shall play off the BLUE Tee, while Ladies and Senior players (70 years & above) shall play off the RED Tee.

The Committee reserves the right to accept or reject a handicap index given by any other club at its discretion. Any disputes with regard to handicaps will be resolved according to the provisions of the USGA Handicapping System.

DRAW The draw will be intimated to all players prior to the tournament date and will also be available at the Registration Desk on game day. All players must be present and ready to play at their respective teeboxes in time. If the player arrives at his starting point, ready to play, within five minutes after his starting time, in the absence of circumstances, that penalty for failure to start on time is two strokes. Penalty for coming late beyond five minutes is disqualification. Timings will be taken only from the official tournament clock.

TIES: In case of a tie, it shall be broken by a count back of the last 9, 6, 3 or 1 hole. For the purpose of this count back, holes 10-18 will be considered. If a tie continues, the winner/runner-up will be decided by the spin of a coin.

Closest to the pin – Overall & per flight

Snacks will be provided for the participants after the 9th hole at the golf course.


  1. The competition shall be governed by the rules of golf as approved by the R&A Rules Limited and the local rules printed on the tournament score card.
  2. All entries shall be subject to approval of the Tournament Committee which reserves the right to refuse entry without giving any reason thereof.
  3. Practice putting on the putting green of the hole last played is prohibited under Note 2 to Rule 7-2. Penalty for breach is 2 strokes. 4. The use of mobile phones to make or receive calls is strictly prohibited. Penalty for using mobile phones during the play of a tournament is disqualification.
  4. In case of any disputes or clarifications with regarding to rulings, kindly contact the appointed Tournament referees.
  5. The decision of the Tournament Committee on all matters pertaining to the play, interpretation and application of the rules of golf and the tournament in general shall be final.
  6. It is mandatory for the participants to engage caddies.
  7. Participant using Buggy/Carts will not be eligible to win prizes.
  8. Players requesting a fixed four-ball, if considered, will not be eligible to win any prizes. However, two ball preference, if considered, will be grouped with golfers of similar handicaps.
  9. Dropouts after the draw would be penalized twice the Tournament Fee.
  10. The score card must be submitted to the club marshal collecting score cards on the 9th & 18th greens. Scores will be considered returned and final on such submission.
  11. The competition is considered closed on declaration of the prize winners on the Club’s notice board.
  12. CADDIES: The player is responsible for the caddie fee to be paid directly to his/her caddie. The recommended caddie fee for this tournament is Rs.500/-
